Obituary for Wayne Hale
Ralph Wayne Hale, 77 of Sprott, AL went to his eternal home on February 25, 2021. He was born on March 12, 1943 in Birmingham, AL to Bernard S. Hale and Lilian Mitchell Hale. He worked as a purchasing agent for Griffin Wood Co. and was a veteran of the National Guard.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Glenn Hale. He is survived by his wife, Betty Jean Hale; his sons Michael Wayne Hale (Heidi), and Charles Allen Hale (Amy); and his sisters Gladys Dunkin (Charles) and Clarice Hoggle. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren: Forrest Hale, Hunter Desch and Analeise Desch.
Graveside services will be held at 3:00 pm, Saturday, February 27, 2021 at Ivey's Chapel Cemetery in Sprott with Rev. Larry Nickels officiating and Kirk Funeral Homes, Marion Chapel directing. Pallbearers will be: Barry Plummer, Steve Taylor, Richard Deavors, John Anderson, Sr., Benji Friday, and Jimmy Cantrel. Honorary Pallbearers are: Jimmy White, Fred E. Nichols and Charles Nichols.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial may be made to Ivey's Chapel Cemetery Fund.
