Charles William “Bill” Robertson, 74 went to his eternal home on April 15, 2021. He was born on July 26, 1946 in Hale County, Alabama to George W. and Louise Monroe Robertson.
He is preceded in death by his parents and his wife Catherine Hitt Robertson. He is survived by his daughter Catherine (Joseph) Gordy of York, AL; his sons: Lee Robertson of Demopolis, AL and Brandon Robertson of Spanish Fort, AL; his grandchildren: Hunter (Kaitlyn) Stewart, Hannah Stewart, Cameron (Lia) Johnson, Dalton Robertson, Elizabeth Robertson and Anthony Robertson; and his great-grandchildren: Ava Johnson and Sage Johnson. He is also survived by his cousins: Jack Robertson, Cleveland Robertson, Jim Robertson, Denny Monroe, Tommy Monroe, Byrne Stewart, Nancy Thompson, Gayle Smith, Lynn Bratton, Kay Hinote, George Campbell, George Nelson and Tuffy Zindnichelk.
Graveside service will be held on Sunday, April 18, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church Cemetery in Gallion, AL with Reverend Kelly Etheridge officiating and Kirk Funeral Homes, Demopolis Chapel directing.
