Obituary for John Milton Kane

John Milton Kane, 86 of Demopolis, AL went to his eternal home on May 8, 2021. He was born on January 3, 1935 in Alabama to Leven Kane and Eloise Woodson Kane. He was an electrician for Citadel Cement and a former veteran.

He was predeceased by his parents and his sister, Ann Kane Boyd. He is survived by his wife, Ouida Hoggle Kane, his daughters Cheryl Kane McGee (Danny) and Tina Kane Simpkins (Dr. Russ Simpkins); and his son Kenneth Fritz Kane. He is also survived by six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 12, 2021, from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church in Demopolis. Funeral service will start at 11:00 with Rev Carl Williams and Dr. Russ Simpkins officiating and Kirk Funeral Homes, Demopolis Chapel directing. Graveside service will follow at Demopolis Memorial Garden Cemetery including a Military Honor Guard.

Pallbearers will be: Jordan Vanderbleek, Kurt Krusmark, Matt Kane, Kane Simpkins, Danny McGee and David West. Junior pallbearers are Kipten West, Maverick West and Shepard Krusmark. Honorary pallbearers are the Andrew Sunday School Class from the First Baptist Church in Demopolis.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial may be made to the Wounded Warriors.
