Obituary for Sarah Elizabeth Gibbs (Gill)
Sarah Elizabeth Gibbs, 72 of Uniontown, AL went to her eternal home on May 14, 2021. She was born on October 17, 1948 in Uniontown to Robert Gill and Cluster Johnson Gill. She was a Certified Nursing Assistant.
She was predeceased by her parents and her husbands, Sanford Gunter and Leon Gibbs. She is survived by her daughter Sheila Hollaway (Marvin) of McDonough, GA; her sister Marie Eppes of Gallion, AL; and her brother Henry Gill (Bernice) of Selma, AL as well as a granddaughter, Faith Hollaway.
Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 pm on Monday May 17, 2021 at Kirk Funeral Homes Chapel in Demopolis, AL. Funeral service will be at 11:00 am on Tuesday May 18, 2021 at the Uniontown Church of God with Rev. Dale Shaffer officiating and Kirk Funeral Homes, Demopolis Chapel directing. Graveside services will follow at Rosemont Cemetery in Uniontown.
Pallbearers are: Scott Gunter, Dustin Gates, TL Ray, John Paul Wilkerson, Derrick Honeycut and Tommy Swindle.
