Obituary for Carolyn Dunning Spence
Carolyn Dunning Spence, 90 of Demopolis, AL went to her eternal home on July 17, 2021. She was born on August 28, 1930 in Marengo County, Alabama to Dorsey Dunning and Elsie Coker Dunning. She was a bank secretary for Robertson Bank.
She is predeceased by her parents, her husband, Troy Spence, Jr. and her son, Eric Spence. She is survived by her sons: Troy Spence (Nancy), Mike Spence (Suzanne), and Gary Spence (Jenny). She is also survived by six grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 20, 2021 from 1:00 - 1:45 pm at Kirk Funeral Homes Chapel in Demopolis. A graveside service will follow at 2:00 pm at the Demopolis Memorial Garden Cemetery in Demopolis directed by Kirk Funeral Homes, Demopolis Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial may be made to the First Baptist Church of Demopolis.
