Obituary for Kathy Jo Fair (Barnes)
Kathy Jo Barnes Fair, age 61 of Demopolis, AL passed away on August 22, 2021 at the home of Susan Webb in Demopolis. She was born on July 21, 1960, in Demopolis to the late Thomas Hatcher Barnes, Jr. and Katherine Adkins Barnes.
She is preceded in death by her parents , and her nephew, Christopher Matthew Barnes. She is survived by her husband, Robert Fair; brother Thomas Michael “Mike” Barnes (Kathy); sister, Audrey Lynn Barnes; nephew, Dustin Michael Barnes (Sonya); great-niece, Presley Katherine; great-nephew Jacob Michael; step-son Tyler Fair; step-daughter Tiffany Skinner (Tim); and her grandchildren: Logan, Samuel, Caroline, and Taylor.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at 11:00 am at the Geneva Presbyterian Church in Sweetwater, AL with Reverend Scott Armstrong officiating and directed by Kirk Funeral Homes, Demopolis Chapel. Burial will follow at Geneva Cemetery in Sweetwater.
Pallbearers will be: Chuck Baker, Jim Reid, Craig Seale, Jason Skerbinc, Billy Joe Webb, and Freddie Webb, Jr. Honorary pallbearers are: the nurses and staff at Legacy Hospice of the East, Demopolis, and the doctors, nurses and staff at the Cancer Care Center of Demopolis.
