Obituary for Geraldine Margaret Foster (Capitina)
Geraldine Margaret Capitina Foster, 78 of Cartersville, GA went to her eternal home on September 18, 2021. She was born on February 22, 1943 in the Philippins to Edward Pete Capitina and Margaret Russel Capitina. She was a school teacher in the Demopolis School System.
She is predeceased by her parents; her husband, Bill Ray Foster; and her sons: Mark and Chris Foster. She is survived by her sons: Darien Foster of Tuscaloosa, AL, Brian Foster (Annette) of Cartersville, GA, Todd Foster (Peggy) of Gallion, AL, Paul Foster (Stephanie) of Canton, GA, and Steven Foster (Raylene) of Demopolis. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 23, 2021 from 12:00 - 1:00 pm at the Kirk Funeral Homes, Demopolis Chapel. Funeral service will be at 1:00 pm also in the Chapel. A graveside service will follow at 4:00 pm at New River Cemetery in Eldridge, AL with Alan Foster officiating and Kirk Funeral Homes, Demopolis Chapel directing.
Pallbearers will be: Corey Holmes, Steven Foster, Jr., Alan Foster, Jonathan Foster, Jeremy Foster, and Shawn Foster.
