Elaine Smith Copeman, 79 of Gallion, AL went to her eternal home on September 20, 2021. She was born on January 28, 1942 in Bogalusa, LA to Hascal Smith and Mabel Copling Smith. She worked as a Certified Public Accountant.
She is predeceased by her parents; her husband, Donovan Copeman, Jr.; her daughter Lora Copeman Burkhalter; and her brothers Wayne and Ricky Smith. She is survived by her son Donovan "Butch" Copeman III, her brother Rusty Smith; and her grandsons: Brandon Jones (Amanda), Kade Burkhalter, and Jake Copeman as well as two great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, September 25, 2021 at 11:00 am at Demopolis Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Demopolis, AL with Rev. Bill Elwell officiating and Kirk Funeral Homes, Demopolis Chapel directing.
