Obituary for Emma Langford Griffin (Duncan)
Emma Jean Duncan Langford Griffin, 91, of Greensboro, AL passed away on November 27, 2021 at Hale County Hospital. She was born on March 14, 1930 to the late John Sidney and Ellarene Thomas Duncan.
She is survived by her children John Philip " Phil " Langford ( Ann ) of Greensboro and Rejeana Gvillo ( Curtis ) of Stewart; 5 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be Sunday December 5, 2021, at 2 pm at Stewart United Methodist Church in Moundville, AL with the Reverends Doug Jolly and Michael Cobb officiating and Kirk Funeral Homes Greensboro Chapel directing. Burial will follow in Concord Cemetery, also in Moundville, AL.
Active pallbearers will be Phillip Watkins, Steve Duncan, John Duncan, Wallace Duncan, Mike Duncan and Keith Duncan. Honorary pallbearers will be the employees of Colonial Haven Nursing Home and Southern Care Hospice.
In lieu of flowers, the family ask memorials be made to the Stewart UMC or the Concord Cemetery Assoc. c/o Jane and Chuck Neal, 2921 County Road 59, Moundville, AL 35474.
