Obituary for Larry Michael Perkins
Larry Michael Perkins, 71 of Forkland, AL went to his eternal home on December 1, 2021. He was born on March 7, 1950 in Linden, AL to Charles Edwin Perkins and Dorothy Lenore Wilkinson Perkins. He was a veteran of the National Guard and a project engineer for Alabama Dept. of Transportation.
He is preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Betty Hartsell; his brother, Joseph E. Perkins and his grandson, Braxton Goodman. He is survived by his wife, Susan McCarter Perkins of Forkland; his sons Abram Perkins (Jennifer) of Colorado Springs, CO, and Edwin Perkins of Jachin, AL; his daughter Carrie Perkins Goodman (John) of Ward, AL; and his sisters: Patty Harris (Billy) of Frankville, AL and Phyllis Hyde also of Frankville He is also survived by his four grandchildren: Vada Goodman, Kensley Perkins, Brooklyn Perkins, and Langdon Goodman.
Graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, December 6, 2021 at Forkland Methodist Cemetery with Nick Nicholson officiating and Kirk Funeral Homes, Demopolis Chapel directing. Pallbearers will be: Curtis Taylor, Abram Perkins, John Morgan, Bill McCarter, Bud McCann and Edwin Perkins.
