Obituary for Joyce Ann Buroker (VanHorn)
Joyce Ann VanHorn Buroker, 77 of Demopolis, AL went to her eternal home on January 28, 2022.
Joyce began her life on January 26, 1945 in Bellefontaine, Ohio. Joyce was preceded in death by her husband Ronald Buroker, parents Bernice and Dale Benham and John VanHorn and brother Robert VanHorn.
Joyce is survived by her sons Randall (Mia) Buroker, Rodney (Lydia) Buroker, and Robbin (Marsha) Buroker; her brother Charles Benham; her grandchildren: Mary Elizabeth (CJ) Hilchey, Joyce (Tim) Douthit, Emily Yelverton, Jennifer Buroker, and Roman Buroker and 9 great grandchildren.
The family would like to personally thank Southern Care Hospice. They not only provided excellent care, but heartfelt compassion and most importantly friendship. Thank you for always making her feel so important.
Mamaw, you are so loved and will be missed by all. Thank you for sharing your wisdom and heart. You touched all of our lives. We find comfort in knowing that you are having the most wonderful reunion with so many family members and friends. We will see you again.
The family will be accepting visitors from 3:00-5:00 pm on Saturday, January 29, 2022 at the home of Mary Hilchey: 406 W Rembert Street Demopolis, Al 36732
