Obituary for Annie Mae Johnson

Annie Mae Johnson, 92 of Mobile, AL went to her eternal home on March 1, 2022. She was born on September 30, 1929, in Carrollton, AL to Ordrie E. Johnson and Rozzie Mae Pate Johnson.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her sisters: Lorene Lyles (Webster) and Nellie Jo Andrews (Bob); and her brothers: Gene Johnson and Aulton Johnson (Mary Glenn). She is survived by her son: John O. McPherson (Gail) of Mobile, AL; her daughter: Janet McPherson Henry (Shannon) of Stevenson, AL; her granddaughters: Julie McPherson Gillett (Judson) of Ft. Sill, OK, Brooks Stewart Baldwin of Demopolis, AL, and Natalee Stewart McGhee (Justin) of Greensboro; her great-grandchildren: Morgan Gillett, McKean Gillett, Caleb Hansard, Cruz Baldwin, Cesh Baldwin, Keigan Rhyne, Madalyn Howard, Olivia McGhee, Harbor McGhee, and Stella McGhee; her Sisters: Betty Sue Thomas (Fredrick) of Greensboro and Louise Wolfe (Bobby) of Owasa, AL; her sister-in-law: Alice Johnson of Greensboro; and her special cousin: Pat Johnson (Mary Lou) of Carrollton, AL as well as many Nieces and Nephews.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 5, 2022, from 9:30 to 10:30 am at Kirk Funeral Homes Chapel in Greensboro, AL. Graveside service will follow at 11:00 a.m. at Oakwood Martin Cemetery in Greensboro with Brother Dee McGuire officiating and Kirk Funeral Homes, Greensboro Chapel directing.

Pallbearers will be: his Grandsons: Caleb Hansard and Cruz Baldwin; Nephews: Larry Hughen, John Thomas, David Johnson, Hal Rowley. Honorary Pallbearers are: Great-Grandsons: McKean Gillett, Harbor McGhee, and Cesh Baldwin; and Nephews: Terry Johnson, Dennis Johnson, Ken Wolfe and Greg Wolfe.
