Donald Reese Ballard, 64 of Uniontown, AL went to his eternal home on August 15, 2022. He was born on January 24, 1958 in Marengo County, AL to Everette Grey Ballard and Betty Lou Averette Ballard. He worked in maintenance for Dairy Fresh.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his granddaughter Alyssa. He is survived by his wife Judy Lawrence Ballard; his daughters: Kayla Ballard (Jonathan), and Gina Watson (Randy); his sister Wanda Kolar (David); his brother Steve Ballard (Kay); and his grandchildren: Laci, Cassie, Harley, Haston, Braleigh, Kinzlee, Grayson, Brantley, Addi, Aubree, and Kalani.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 17, 2022 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the Kirk Funeral Homes Chapel in Demopolis. Graveside service will be on Thursday, August 18, 2022 at 3:00 pm at Rosemont Cemetery in Uniontown, AL with Rev. Artie Plummer officiating and Kirk Funeral Homes, Demopolis Chapel directing.

Pallbearers will be: Blake Ballard, Duck Vann, Doug Mims, Jonathan Ballard, Allen Canterbury, and Eric Ray. Honorary pallbearers will be his nephews.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial may be made to the American Cancer Society.
