Obituary for James Edward Lancaster
James Edward Lancaster, 70 of Linden, AL went to his eternal home on August 27, 2022. He was born on September 7, 1951 in Tuscaloosa, AL to Lucille Abernathy and James Theodore Lancaster. He worked on the service crew at West Rock.
He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his daughter, Lanie Hoover of Demopolis, AL; his son James Lancaster of Madison, AL; his sisters: Cheryl Abernathy of Tuscaloosa and Theresa Abernathy of Thomaston, AL. He is also survived by four grandchildren: Grace and Olivia Hoover; and Brayden and Gavin Lancaster.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 31, 2022 from 1:00 to 2:00 pm at the Rangeline Baptist Church in Demopolis. A memorial service will follow at 2:00 pm with Rev. Randall Smith officiating and Kirk Funeral Homes, Demopolis Chapel directing.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial may be made to Rangeline Baptist Church in Demopolis, AL.
