David Edward Mosley, 81 of Demopolis, AL went to his eternal home on September 15, 2022. He was born on August 25, 1941 in Silas, AL to Christine Hooks and Wilton Lee Mosley. He was a lineman for Black Warrior Electric Co.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Peggy J. Mosley; his son, David E. Mosley, Jr., his sisters Marie Rowell and Vivian Welford; and his granddaughter, Jessica L. Lolley. He is survived by his daughter, Sherry Lolley (Bill); his grandchildren, Micah Hohenberger, Billinda Williams (Wesley), Joseph Lolley, Blake Mosley, and TJ Hohenberger; his great grandchildren, Elijah Hohenberger, Karsyn Williams, Gabriella Lolley and Kaylynn Williams; his siblings: Albert Mosley (Jacquelin), Johnny Mosley and Wilma Odom and his dearest friend Hattie B Truelove.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 20, 2022 from 10:00 - 11:00 am at Kirk Funeral Homes Chapel in Demopolis. Funeral service will be at 11:00 also in the chapel. Interment will be held at 2:00 pm at Creola United Methodist Church Cemetery in Creola, AL with Jon Chappelle officiating and Kirk Funeral Homes, Demopolis chapel directing.

Pallbearers will be: Wesley Williams, TJ Hohenberger, Elijah Hohenberger and Joseph Lolley.
