Obituary for Michael Scott Coley
Michael Scott Coley, 58 of Forkland, AL went to his eternal home on November 5, 2022. He was born on April 25, 1964 in Demopolis, AL to Joel Austin Coley and Barbara Ann Reeves Coley. He was a veteran and a store room clerk/maintenance worker at Westrock.
He was preceded in death by his mother. He is survived by his wife, Marsha Jane Stone Coley of Forkland; his father; his step-mother Myrtle Coley of Demopolis, AL; his daughters: Miranda Brooke Coley Barkley (Keith), Heather Owings (Clyde Hill), and Ashley Owings; and his brother, Joel Austin Coley, Jr. (Emily). He is also survived by his grandson, Ridge Barkley and his granddaughter, Skylar Hill.
A visitation will be held on Friday, November 11, 2022 from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at Forkland United Methodist Church in Forkland. A graveside service will follow at the Phillips Cemetery at the Forkland United Methodist Church with Rev. Kenny Overstreet officiating and Kirk Funeral Homes, Demopolis Chapel directing.
Pallbearers will be: Allen Rayfield, Jeff Tucker, Brad Taylor, Clyde Hill, Jr., Scott Williams, and Jeff Ethridge. Honorary pallbearers are: Joe K. Morgan, Bruce Baker, Mike Black, Tommy Deas, and Tyrone Ingram.
