Obituary for Dorothy Ann Greer (Bailey)
Dorothy Ann Bailey Parker Greer, 78 of Greensboro, AL went to her eternal home on December 8, 2022. She was born in Lanett, AL on January 9, 1944 to Dewitt Bailey and Lorene Bailey Yerta. She was a legal secretary for Charles Thigpen.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ed Greer; and her brother, Dan Bailey. She is survived by her sons: David L. Parker (Tammy) and Richard D. Parker (Leona). She is also survived by seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, December 11, 2022 at 2:00 pm at Greensboro Baptist Church with Rev. Dee McGuire officiating and Kirk Funeral Homes, Greensboro Chapel directing. A graveside service will follow at Waycross Bible Methodist Church Cemetery on Hwy 29 North in Perry County, AL.
Pallbearers will be: Nicholas D. Parker, Garrett Parker, Jesse James, and Trent Burgess.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial may be made to Greensboro Baptist Church Sunday School, Children's Division.
