John Allen Barnes, Jr., 70 of Newbern, AL went to his eternal home on December 24, 2022. He was born on August 22, 1952 in Williston, ND to John Allen Barnes, Sr. and Betty Lane Barnes. He was a veteran.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Sue Ellen Barnes (Davis). He is survived by his daughter, Jennifer Hunt (Bradley); his brother-in-law Glenn H. Davis and his grandchildren Bradley and Dylan.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at 12:00 pm at Demopolis Memorial Gardens Cemetery with Kirk Funeral Homes, Demopolis Chapel directing. Pallbearers will be: Ray Barnes and Glenn Davis.
