Allan Lane Colyar, 84 of Demopolis, AL went to his eternal home on January 15, 2023. He was born on February 26, 1938 in Tullahoma, TN to Lee Allan Colyar and Willie Belle Moore Colyar.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Fay T. Colyar; his daughter, Leigh Colyar Trail (Max); and his brother, Terry Colyar (Marilyn). He is survived by his daughter, Dane Victory; and his son, RIchard "Ric" Lane Colyar (Lori); He is also survived by seven grandchildren: Ralph Carlton (Jamie), Max Trail (Rhonda), Adam Trail (Amy), Sydney Colyar, Hunter Colyar, Cameron Thomason, and Laura Peyton Thomason; and five great-grandchildren Lane Carlton, Luke Carlton, Jacob Trail, Kaitlyn Trail, and Elizabeth Colyar.

A visitation will be held on Friday, January 20, 2023 from 12:30 to 1:30 pm at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Tullahoma, TN. A graveside service will follow at 2:00 pm with Dave Culbertson and Tom Murdock officiating. Local arrangements will be handled by Kirk Funeral Homes, Demopolis Chapel. Pallbearers will be: Hunter Colyar, Ralph Carlton, Max Trail, Jr., Adam Trail, Lane Carlton, and Luke Carlton. Honorary pallbearers are: Tullahoma High School class of 1956, Legacy Hospice of Demopolis, and Woodhaven Manor Nursing Home.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial may be made to St. Judes Hospital.
