Obituary for Marion Pierce Crawford
Marion Pierce Crawford, 91 of Marion, AL went to his eternal home on January 23, 2023. He was born on June 30, 1931 in Perry County, AL to E. Gayle Crawford and Alice Abernathy Crawford. He was a veteran and a self-employed truck driver.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Nina Whaley; and his sister, Dottie Gayle Crawford. He is survived by his sisters Mary Alice Yandle and Elizabeth Ruth Smith; and his brothers Roy C. Crawford (Virginia) and Bradley S. Crawford (Betty). He is also survived by two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, January 26, 2023 at 1:00 pm at Fellowship Cemetery in Perry County, AL with Kirk Funeral Homes, Marion Chapel directing.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial may be made to the Fellowship Cemetery Fund: c/o Vivian Bauer, 202 Dogwood Lane, Marion, AL 36756.
