Thomas Edward Allen, 81 of Gallion, AL went to his eternal home on January 24, 2023. He was born on June 2, 1941 in Bibb County, AL to James Edward Allen and Zora Etta Colburn Allen. He was a General Foreman/Substations for Alabama Power Co. and retired in 1996 with 32 years of service. He was a Marine veteran and a member of Gallion Baptist Church.

Tom was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Billy Lee Allen, and his sister, Dorothy Ann Holsombeck. He is survived by his wife, Sue Baker Allen, his brother, James Albert Allen (Oneida); his sister, Zora Mae Cearlock; his three sons: Steven Edward Allen (Judy), Thomas Gregory Allen (Ruth), and Christopher Lee Allen (Melanie). He is also survived by his seven grandchildren: Thomas Pascal Allen, Robert Jacob Allen (Spenser), Carly Marie Allen, Spencer Monroe Allen, Thomas Alexander Allen, Ozzie Gregory Allen, and Ainsley Kathleen Allen; and his great-granddaughter, Teagan Marie Allen.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 28, 2023 from 10:00 to 10:45 am at Gallion Baptist Church. Funeral service will be at 11:00, also in the church with Rev Nick Dorsey and Hank Atchison officiating and Kirk Funeral Homes, Demopolis Chapel directing. Graveside service will follow at Demopolis Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Pallbearers are: Randy Turner, Ricky Ayres, Pascal Allen, Jacob Allen, Spencer Allen, Alex Allen, Ozzie Allen, and Will Ayres.
