William John Doman 82, of Greensboro, Al., died Sunday June 7, 2015, at home surrounded by family. Graveside services will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday June 10, 2015, from Oakwood cemetery with Father Larry Schinnick officiating and Kirk Funeral Homes Greensboro Chapel directing.

Bill was born Dec 3, 1933, Wauwautosa, Wi.,the son of Jud and Angeline Doman.His boyhood was spent in Eagle, Wi. In the fall of 1951 he met his future wife, Ruth Fields, on a blind date with mutual friends. They were married a year later on Oct. 25, 1952.They spent the first 26 years of their married life in Delavan, Wi. In 1978 Bill decided he had enough cold Wisconsin winters and they moved to the sunny south. He purchased a farm outside of Greensboro, Al., where he went into the catfish buisness. He retired in 1998 where his son took over the family farm.

Bill was a devoted husband and loving father who will be greatly missed.He is survived by his wife , Ruth Fields Doman; son, William David Doman; daughters, Lucille Doman, Cindy (James) Bigelo, and Debbie Fowler; 7 grandchildren, Mickey Bigelo, Michelle Bigelo, Matthew Bigelo, Marcus Bigelo, Carrie Fowler, Cory (Jessilyn) Fowler and Angeline Doman; brother, Judson (Jean) Doman; sisters, Marion Trost and Pat (Ron) Koeske; brother-in-law, Muriel Fields; 8 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, his beloved dog Molly and Nuisance the cat.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Judson and Angeline Caspary Doman; son in law, Randy; brother in law, Don; sister in law, Lois.
