Barbara Qualls Speed 69, of Demopolis, passed away April 1, 2017, at Noland Hospital in Tuscaloosa. Services will be held 1 p.m. at First United Methodist Church of Demopolis with Rev. David Willis officiating and Kirk Funeral Homes Demopolis Chapel directing. Burial will follow in Demopolis Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.

Barbara was born September 15, 1947, in Cookville, Tn., to the late Roy and Geneva Allen Qualls.

She is survived by her husband, Dale Speed; daughter, Deanna Speed Stafford (Bob); sisters, Freda Green and Kathy Pruitt; brothers, Waymon Qualls and J.B. Qualls; grandchild, Robbie Stafford.

Pallbearers will be Billy Duke, Lloyd Hannah, Robbie Stafford, Daniel Qualls, Rob Winn, Dan Kelly and Boo Limpson.
