John W. Bone 79, of Marion, passed away Aug. 31, 2017, at Southland Nursing Home in Marion. A graveside service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday September2, 2017, from Marion Cemetery with Rev. John Nicholson officiating and Kirk Funeral Homes Marion Chapel directing.

John was born May 31, 1938, in Talledega, to Thomas H. and Eunice Bone.

He was preceded by his parents; 1st wife, Theora Bone; 2nd wife, Betty F. Bone.

He is survived by his daughter, Faye Cox (Tom) of Montgomery.
