Mary Frankie McDonough, 95, a resident of Wesley Gardens Montgomery, Al., passed away on Tuesday September, 5, 2017.

She was preceded by her husband, James McDonough; parents, Dr. Thomas Jefferson and Mary Sue Montz Jones McDonough of Perry County; brothers, Jeff Jones, Breck Jones, Charles Jones and Hoy Jones; sisters, Minnie Jones Farris and Elizabeth Jones.

She is survived by her sister, Claire Prather of Marietta, Ga. and several nieces and nephews.

She was a former member of McGhee Road Baptist Church and a current member of Taylor Road Baptist Church. Frankie loved her faith, family and the Holy scriptures. She strive to look and be her best representing the Lord.Many thanks to her close friends and especially her best friend and companion David Oakes.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday September 11, 2017, at Wesley Gardens Assisted Living in Montgomery, Al. The Rev. J. Thomas Randall officiating. A graveside service will be held Tuesday 12 noon at Marion Cemetery in Marion.
