Trilbie Louise McClendon 92, of Marion, passed away September 28, 2017, at Southland Nursing Home. Graveside services will be held 3 p.m. Saturday September 30, 2017, at Marion Cemetery with Billy Moore and Len Hurston officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.

Trilbie was born December 17, 1924, in St. Clair County to Jabe and Valor Deweese Sharpton.

She was preceded by her husband, Julius David McClendon; sisters, Opal Dockery, Nanny George, Verlie Barron and Faye Gibson; brother, V.C. Sharpton.

Survivors are her daughters, June Moore (Jerry) and Paula Boyle (Don); sons, Phillip Dale McClendon (Sandy) and Timmie McClendon (Beth);9 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Billy Moore, Mark Moore, Jonathon McClendon, Lance McClendon, Coleman McClendon and Don Boyle.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Southland Nursing Home or charity of one's choice.
