Corinne Bailey Slayden 94, of Demopolis, passed away May 30, 2018, at Forest General Hospital in Hattiesburg, Ms. Services will be Sunday June 3, 2018, at 3 p.m from Kirk Funeral Homes Demopolis Chapel with Rev. Barrett Abernethy. Burial will follow in Demopolis Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.

Corinne was born March 10, 1924, in Clarksville, Tn., to James Edward and Corinne Calhoun Bailey.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Guy Eugene Slayden; brothers, James Edmond Bailey and Tyler Calhoun Bailey.

Survivors are her daughters, Patricia Shaw (Troy) of Bluffton, S.C., and Caroline Hill (David) of Petal, Ms.; sons, Guy E. Slayden Jr. ( LaVerne) of Dadeville, Al. and Reid C. Slayden (Linda) of Carson City, Nv.; sisters, Eleanor Bailey Hay and Maria Bailey Goodloe; 9 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild.

Pallbearers will be Brian Hill, Adam Hill, Tyler Hill, Wayne Knox, Kit Slayden, and Hunter Hill.
